Project vision

The images move through a residence's landscape design, from the street-facing facade to the gardens that wrap the house and pool. Planting takes the lead and filters the architecture in almost every frame.

Visual language

A dense mass of palms and trees forms a green screen in front of the horizontal facade. Wooden paths and lush beds guide the eye between the street and the rear garden.

Materials and atmosphere

Large tropical foliage, palms, heliconias and purple-leaved clumps build layers of green and colour. Wooden decks, corten-steel walls and the pool's water plane counterpoint the planting.

Indoor–outdoor relationship

Glass-and-wood facades reflect the garden and blur the line between inside and out. From the deck, the pool and the greenery beyond extend the house into the landscape.
