Project vision

The set moves through the backyard of the residence, from the palm-framed pool and entrance pergola to a secluded seating corner with a fire pit and hammocks. The sequence follows a narrow side path between the house walls.

Materials and atmosphere

Light-toned walls and a reddish roof contrast with the wood-slat pergola covered by a flowering vine. Beds of blue flowers and red foliage line the path along the walls.

Experience of the spaces

Hammocks strung between timber posts and a central fire pit form a shaded seating point beneath the trees, with string lights reinforcing the space's evening mood.

Indoor–outdoor relationship

A narrow passage between the house's pink and white walls, lined by a flowering bed, connects the interior spaces to the back garden and the pool area.
