Taciana House

Project vision

The study presents an enclosed residential courtyard conceived around an open-air shower. Tall walls of exposed concrete block form an intimate enclosure, with a floor of small pale stone pavers.

Materials and atmosphere

The raw texture of the blocks and the light-toned paving make a neutral backdrop for the planting. Beds of tropical foliage and clumps of white and red flowers lend colour and freshness to the compact space.

Experience of the spaces

The two images explore the same enclosure at different planting intensities, from the leaner garden to the lush bed that wraps the shower, composing a secluded bathing space woven into the greenery.
