Project vision

The series presents the entrance and common-area landscape design of a country estate, from the named entry portal to the tree-lined parking area and the internal paths between the residences. It closes with an aerial view of the entire layout.

Materials and atmosphere

Palms, cycads and beds of bougainvillea and azaleas frame decorative rusted-iron gates and Portuguese-stone paths. Red-flowering trees punctuate the trail through the lush tropical planting.

Indoor–outdoor relationship

An artificial lake with blue palms and a winding path leads to a covered gazebo among the trees, creating a seating point apart from the residences. The parking area beneath a row of trees precedes the approach to the houses.

Experience of the spaces

From the sunset light at the entry portal to the daytime aerial view, the sequence follows the arrival route through to the common areas and the water feature at the back of the site.
